1. Submission Method
Please submit your manuscript through the author submission system on our official website (www.rmhh.com.cn). The journal's email (rmhh2010@163.com) does not accept submissions. This email is solely for inquiries related to fees and requests for sample copies.
Note: There are several counterfeit websites online, so please ensure that you verify the website's URL before submitting your manuscript.
2. Notes on Submission
1) Manuscript Acceptance Policy:
The journal welcomes original research papers, and multiple submissions are not permitted. Submissions should align with the scope of the journal, or focus on interdisciplinary research with significant relevance to our scope. The manuscripts should address topics of current interest or issues that are important to professionals in the field, providing valuable insights on a broader scale. The journal requires that submissions demonstrate a high level of academic rigor, innovation, and scientific merit, with sound research methods, logical reasoning, and well-supported conclusions that are engaging and thought-provoking for a wide range of readers. If the manuscript is based on findings presented at a conference but has not been formally published, please indicate this at the end of the manuscript.
2) Writing Requirements:
Please refer to the "Submission Instructions" and "Manuscript Template" available in the Download Center. Ensure that your manuscript adheres strictly to these guidelines.
3) Fee Information:
The journal only charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. For manuscripts up to 4 pages, the APC is CNY 2,000. For each additional page, the APC increases by CNY 800.
3. Copyright Policy
Authors who publish their articles in the journal are required to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement (see Download Center). Under this agreement, authors transfer the full copyright of the entire article and its attachments (including but not limited to the rights of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, broadcast, performance, translation, compilation and adaptation) to the editorial office of Yellow River, and the copyright will belong to the journal's editorial office. The copyright transfer fee and remuneration will be paid to the author in a single lump sum, and authors who have any objections may notify the editorial office.
Right of Authors: After an article is published in the journal, the author(s) of the article have the right to use the article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
4. Manuscript Review
The editorial office follows a three-stage review process for all submissions, which includes an initial review by editors, a peer review, and a final review by the Editor-in-Chief. The process is outlined as follows:
1) Initial Review:
The initial review is conducted by the managing editor, who evaluates whether the manuscript meets the journal's scope, originality, and writing quality standards. In addition, the journal employs the Academic Misconduct Literature Check (AMLC) System provided by CNKI to screen all submissions for plagiarism. Manuscripts with a similarity rate exceeding 10% will be rejected.
2) Peer Review:
Manuscripts that pass the initial review are sent to two independent experts in the relevant field for review. The journal employs a double-blind review process to ensure that reviewers provide objective and accurate assessments of the manuscript. Once the reviewers submit their comments, the managing editor reviews the comments and sends them to the author. If revisions are requested, the author should respond to each comment and submit a revised version for another round of peer review.
3) Final Review:
Manuscripts that pass the peer review are then subjected to a final review by the Editor-in-Chief, who makes the final decision on whether the manuscript will be published. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the journal's overall content.
The above review process applies to all submissions to the journal. Manuscripts submitted for supplementary issues, special columns or special issues will undergo the same review and editorial process as other manuscripts, with the Editor-in-Chief making the final decision on acceptance.
In addition, submissions from the journal's editors, editorial board members, and reviewers are subject to the same rigorous review and editorial procedures. Peer reviews for these submissions are conducted independently of the related editor, board member, or reviewer and their research group. Editors, board members, and reviewers are prohibited from participating in the review process of manuscripts authored by themselves, their family members, colleagues, or others with whom they have a conflict of interest.
5. Author Appeals
For authors who disagree with the review comments or results, they may contact the editorial office via email to initiate communication with the reviewers. The author must provide detailed explanations and clarifications for each review comment. Upon receiving an appeal, the editorial office will address it promptly and inform the author of the outcome. Typically, only one appeal is permitted per manuscript.
6. Handling of Academic Misconduct
Any form of academic misconduct is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to duplicate submissions, plagiarism, and data fabrication. For manuscripts found to involve academic misconduct, the following actions will be taken: If the manuscript has not yet been published, it will be rejected. If it has already been published, the editorial office will retract the article and notify relevant domestic and international databases and indexing systems to remove it.
In cases of severe misconduct (such as deliberate plagiarism or duplicate submissions), the editorial office will report the incident to the author's affiliated institution and will not accept future submissions from the relevant authors.
7. Corrections & Retractions
The editorial office may issue corrections or retractions for published articles when necessary, as detailed below:
1) Corrections:
If a published article is found to contain unintentional scientific errors that do not significantly affect the results or conclusions, the editorial office will promptly publish a correction notice in the journal. This notice will provide a detailed account of the changes made to the original article and include the article's source. A new, corrected version of the article will be released, with the specific changes and the date of the update indicated. When citing the article, please refer to the most recent version.
2) Retractions:
If a published article is found to have serious scientific errors that undermine the reliability of its results and conclusions, the editorial office will issue a retraction. In addition, if an article is suspected of academic misconduct, the editorial office will initiate an investigation and publish a statement to inform readers of the potential issues. The results of the investigation will be made public. If academic misconduct is confirmed, the editorial office will retract the article. For retracted articles, the editorial office will notify relevant domestic and international databases and indexing systems to remove the articles to minimize their dissemination.
